Description: This two-day seminar is designed to provide an extensive review of all facets of critical care practice. The course uses central knowledge based lectures built from AACN’s Core Curriculum for Critical Care Nursing to provide content that aligns with AACN’s Certification Blueprint. The first day content includes the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems, and neurological assessments. The second day will bring together both progressive care and critical care nurses with information essential to both groups, focusing on: hematological, endocrine, renal, gastrointestinal, and exam preparation. This review is not an introduction to the environment of the ICU, but a comprehensive update for the professional already in practice at the bedside and preparing for the certification examination.
CE Provided: 14.5 contact hours for attendance both days
