The first day content includes the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems, and neurological assessments. The second day will bring together both progressive care and critical care nurses with information essential to both groups, focusing on: hematological, endocrine, renal, gastrointestinal, and exam preparation. This review is not an introduction to the environment of the ICU, but a comprehensive update for the professional already in practice at the bedside and preparing for the certification examination.
